 Interactive Whiteboards

Interactive Whiteboards

Get the most from your whiteboard.

We can help you set your whiteboard and projector up and also support teachers to use them interactively by creating exciting lessons using interactive tools, sound and video.

If you are looking to purchase a whiteboard, we can recommend proven solutions that cost under four hundred pounds and can be moved anywhere in the school.

Sound Recording and Podcasting

We make sound recording fun. Record poetry, songs and stories from reception classes upwards. Podcasts offer a fun way to learn and promote your school. Broadcast your activities and events across the world using classroom proven solutions.

Create online lessons and revision activities that can be used outside the classroom with an MP3 player. Liven up a curriculum day with pupils taking on the role of roving reporters using low cost microphones. Create your own radio show that enhances learning in areas such as poetry and languages.

The online world presents many opportunities for young people but it can also be a threat.

Being safe online is the key theme in presentations that are available to staff, parents and governors. Presentations cover a wide range of themes including bullying, social media such as facebook and protecting your online identity.

In order to help schools become more E-safe we can help you through the 360 degree Self Review Framework. You can choose to become fully accredited if you wish.

Control Technology – Children as inventors

scratchUsing award winning “Scratch” we can help your pupils develop powerful and fun sequences.

Scratch is a programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art — and share your creations on the web.

As young people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.

“Makey Makey” developed by MIT students starts with the premise that everyone is creative, inventive, and imaginative. Use Makey Makey to create books that talk, pictures that sing and banana pianos.

Watch the video and be amazed at the invention kit for everyone.

 Video Conferencing

Video ConferencingBeing able to video link simply and at no cost through your web browser is now a reality.

The possibilities are many – links to overseas schools, language development, primary/secondary links or remote tutoring for pupils not in school.

Most schools in the West Midlands region can access Video Conferencing tools such as Adobe Connect for free without the need for expensive or complicated equipment.

Multimedia and Video

There is a wealth of great (and free!) content out there that can be used to enhance lessons and help learners.

We can help you to maximise the use of quality materials from providers such as the National Education Network. In addition, it is possible to create your own high quality content such as graphics, sound and videos using low cost cameras.

Datalogging and Sensing

An important part of the science curriculum and equally applicable at the primary and secondary level.

The key to successful implementation is having easy to use equipment and meaningful examples of use. In terms of the latter, we have worked with leading experts in the field to come up with real life and fun examples of where Datalogging can be used.
