• 3rd August – Society walk
  Visit to the newly opened section of the Droitwich Barge Canal to be led by BW engineer John Tearle. Meet at Ladywood Lock 7.15 pm

• 7th September – AGM followed by Water Management – The electronic Lock-keeper

  Archive waterways pictures from the former Birmingham Post photographer

• 2nd November – Tales of the Severn
  Recollections of former deckhand Chris Witts on Severn freight carrying barges.

• 7th December – Canal Holidays 50 years ago
  Roger Butler provides a look at the early days of canal cruising.

• 4th January – Cruising the Liverpool Link
  An illustrated talk on this newly opened canal by Richard Sanders.  
• 1st February – Canals in camera
  An illustrated talk by Roy Murphy specialising on Brindley canals in the north-west and Worcestershire  
• 1st  March – The Ross Barlow hydrogen boat project
  The future narrowboat fuel by Prof Rex Harris
  
• 5th March - The Work of the Woodland Trust
  A talk by Margaret Anderson

Non members are welcome to attend

We hold monthly meetings in the function room of the "Boat & Railway" public house at Stoke Prior at 8pm on the first Tuesday of every month (except July & August when we usually have an evening walk). Appropriately the pub is right alongside the canal. At the meetings visiting speakers give illustrated talks on a wide variety of waterway related subjects. The meetings provide an opportunity for members to relax and meet others with similar interests. Visitors are always welcome.
